A time to celebrate the history of the National Road, with yard sales throughout the community and in the Town Park, an organized bike ride, and several performances and art activities.

• Saturday, May 17th | 8:00am to 10:30am : National Road Festival Bike Ride, beginning and ending at Little Crossings
• Saturday, May 17th | 9:00am to 11:00am: Snaggy Mountain Slackards at Spruce Forest Artisan Village pavilion
• Saturday, May 17th | 10:00am to 2:00pm: Barn Quilt community art project, at the Town Park
• Saturday, May 17th | 11:30am to 1:30pm: Simple Gifts at the Town Park**

Visit the Artists at the Spruce Forest Artisan Village historic log cabin studios – blacksmith Mike Edelman, leatherworker Luke Geasey, wood turner Gene Gillespie, weaver Ann Jones, potter Lynn Lais, and metalsmith Doug Salmon.
