It’s nearly Christmastime on the Mountaintop! The Spruce Forest Artisan Village (https://www.spruceforest.org/) founded Christmas in the Village in 1984 and have carried on that tradition since! Added to the excitement will be activities and events on the entire Little Crossings campus. It will be two days of holiday fun, traditions, kids’ activities, music, and more!
The dates and times of the event are Friday 4 to 8 p.m. and Saturday noon to 8 p.m.
During those hours, the following will be available:
· Spruce Forest Artisan Village will have all artists in-house, including local docent Pamela Dornburg in the old schoolhouse
· Live music in the Village Church
· Little Crossings Holiday Market with a dozen local artisan vendors including Bill Aiken with custom wreaths
· Lion's Club will be selling mulled wine and will have their annual food drive to benefit the food pantry
· Christmas at Penn Alps will have their gift shop open, as well as vendors in the Great Hall, their Christmas buffet. They will have cookies for kids!
· The Cornucopia Cafe will have extended hours and be open special for the duration of the event (currently closes at 4pm)
· Fernwood Soaps (under new management!) will be open
· Yoder House will be open for tours and offering free popcorn
· Stanton's Mill will be open
· A Raffle for gift baskets donated by local businesses and individuals, proceeds to support festival expenses
· Multiple bonfires for warming, and everything beautifully decorated with greenery and lights
